It’s all fun and games

We have underlined our family credentials by unveiling a state-of-the-art children’s play area during a special fun day on Saturday 26th Sept.

Key 103 Breakfast Show host Chelsea Norris – expecting a baby next January – was on hand as 200 people gathered for the launch of the £18,000 facility at the Puss In Boots in Offerton.

The cost of the play area was shared between the pub and Stockport brewer Frederic Robinson, the pub’s owner.  The Unicorn Brewery’s traditional shire horse-drawn dray also paid a call at the fun day, which featured a face painter and bouncy castle.

“Being a family run company we think it’s important that community pubs, such as the Puss in Boots, are places where families can come together to enjoy their time.”

“The new play area will certainly mean the families of Stockport can do just that. We’ve had some amazing and heartfelt feedback about it and we’re looking forward to welcoming many families in the area to come and enjoy some food and a drink, while their children are entertained.”
