One Small Step Pub Walk 2017

We are super excited to be planning this year’s One Small Step Pub Walk on 22nd July, in aid of Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK (FPWR UK)

The charity is one close to the family’s heart as it funds research in Prader-Willi Syndrome, which Bella (Vicki’s daughter) has. This event, along with others throughout the year, is organised to raise as much money and awareness as possible to help make the lives of those living with the syndrome more manageable. For more information about the charity and Prader-Willi Syndrome, visit FPWR UK.

For the fourth year running we’re planning a 12.5 mile scenic walk from the Fletchers Arms in Denton to The Hesketh in Cheadle Hulme, with a pit stop at the Spread Eagle, lunch at the Puss in Boots and a refuel at the Three Bears in between. The day finishes with a celebration and fundraising party at the The Hesketh.

The £15 participation fee includes your t-shirt and all of your refreshments throughout the day, £10 goes directly to the charity.

After the huge success of the last three years we’re hoping the event is even bigger and even better, we’d love to double our fundraising! We hope you can all make it and help us recreate last years’ magic. With a bit of luck, the weather will be just as glorious….
