We’ve got something exciting in the works, and we need your help to make it happen.
At Almond Family Pubs, we’ve always been proud of the warm, community feel that runs through everything we do – and now we’re opening our doors to the creative talent across Stockport.
We’re on the lookout for local makers, crafters, and workshop hosts to partner with us on a series of hands-on craft nights.
Think candle making, wreath workshops, painting sessions, macramé: whatever your craft, if you love sharing it with others, we want to hear from you.
What We’re Imagining
Picture a cosy midweek evening at one of our pubs: a room full of friendly people doing something they enjoy – something fun, social, and hands-on.
Each event will be hosted and led entirely by you, in one of our beautiful pub spaces, with up to 30 guests ready to have a brilliant time.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to work with hosts who:
- Run engaging, beginner-friendly workshops (nothing too technical or overly messy: think fun over fussy)
- Are experienced in leading group sessions and comfortable doing so independently
- Can supply all the materials and equipment needed on the night
- Are available for early-in-the-week evening slots (Monday to Wednesday, with some Saturday mornings also a possibility)
In return, we’ll handle the venue, the audience, and the promotion, including marketing across our pubs. We’re looking to build ongoing partnerships across all five of our locations, so there’s real potential for repeat bookings throughout the year.
How to Get Involved
We’re now open for submissions. If you think you’d be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you. Fill in our quick enquiry form — it only takes a few minutes — and tell us a bit about what you do, your availability, and your usual cost per head.
Once we’ve reviewed submissions, we’ll be in touch to acknowledge every application and share next steps. Suitable hosts will then be matched with pubs based on workshop type, availability, and group size.
We’ve already had a wonderful response from the community and can’t wait to see what comes in.

We want this to be a genuine collaboration, not just a venue hire. We’re looking for workshops that are warm, welcoming, and accessible: the kind of session where someone who’s never tried the craft before walks out feeling proud of what they’ve made. Bonus points if it pairs well with a pint, of course.
