The Station House, now open in Cheadle Hulme

We’re delighted to share that The Station House in Cheadle Hulme – the newest addition to Almond Family Pubs – is now open and welcoming guests.
Formerly known as Platform 5, The Station House has undergone a full transformation. The stunning new interior takes inspiration from the golden age of rail travel, featuring 1930s-style décor, a brass and marble bar, and plush leather booths that create a timeless, elegant atmosphere.
Outside, the rejuvenation continues with a 100-seat raised sun terrace to be finished in the coming weeks, perfect for dining and drinks in the open air – plus there will be widened entryways for an easy, welcoming arrival.
The Station House also introduces a fresh dining experience for Almond Family Pubs guests. While our other venues continue to serve their much-loved carveries, The Station House offers a distinctive menu and service style. Guests can enjoy elevated plated Sunday roasts, featuring all the classics done to perfection, alongside a daily à la carte menu with standout dishes such as Confit Gressingham duck leg, red wine and rosemary braised lamb shank, and roasted Mediterranean vegetable risotto with pesto-drenched burrata.
Open seven days a week, The Station House is already proving popular with locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed meal, a Sunday roast, or a few drinks in our elegant new bar, we can’t wait to welcome you aboard.
