VAT reduced children’s menu prices, from Thursday 25 June

The summer holidays are long, the kids are hungry, and a family meal out shouldn’t cost the earth. So we’re pleased to share some genuinely good news – children’s meals are getting cheaper across all five of our pubs from 25th June, as we’re passing on the VAT savings directly to you. What’s more, our annual Summer Holiday offer will be coming soon, too.

The UK government has introduced a temporary cut to VAT on children’s meals as part of its Great British Summer Savings scheme. For the summer holiday period, the VAT charged on qualifying kids’ meals drops from the usual 20% down to 5%. Rather than keep that saving for ourselves, we’re doing the obvious thing: passing it straight on to you. Every children’s meal on our menu will come down in price from Thursday 25 June to reflect that lower price.

The reduction applies to main meals from our children’s menu, along with Fruit Shoots. It is for meals enjoyed in the pub with us, so you’ll see the savings whenever the family sits down for lunch or tea. The reduced pricing runs from 25 June through to 1 September 2026, right across the school holidays.

Please note, in order to reduce waste, we are not reprinting our children’s menus: your saving will simply be reflected on the bill. You can browse the VAT reduction affected prices here.
