At Almond Family Pubs, we’re backing the #VATsTheProblem campaign.

Right now, UK hospitality pays 20% VAT, one of the highest rates in Europe. France, Spain and Italy pay 10%. Germany pays just 7%. That imbalance is putting enormous pressure on pubs, restaurants and venues across the country – places that are at the very heart of our communities.

We believe VAT at 10% is fair for hospitality, and it would help protect local jobs, support independent businesses like ours, and keep the places people love open for years to come.
