With the news on Saturday about us entering a second National Lockdown we are getting in touch to let you know our plans for while we are closed. (Currently 5th November until 2nd December)
We are delighted to let you know that our coffee shops at the Jolly Sailor and Puss in Boots will remain open for take-aways and we will endeavour to continue providing you with our brand-new bacon and sausage sandwiches, hot drinks and freshly baked pastries, as well as sweet treats, cakes and tray bakes. Perfect for those of you working from home and who need to stretch your legs or are driving yourselves potty staring at the same four walls!
We’re busy working on an external solution at the Jolly Sailor so you don’t need to come inside for your coffee fix! Follow us here to keep up to date with our progress.
Take-aways are certainly on the cards and we’re working with the Puss in Boots chefs to try and get this up and running hopefully this week. With the Fletchers Arms planned after this.
In the meantime, our click and collect service is still available from the Jolly Sailor so if you’re craving a roast or one of your favourite pub classics, no need to miss out! See our take-away page for more information
We hope to introduce delivery soon so watch this space!
While we’ll all be spending a little more time indoors again our Jolly quiz master Martin is relaunching his famous Lockdown Quiz from Thursday 12th November. You can tune in on our Jolly Sailor Facebook page, every Thursday from 8pm.
We know this news has come as a blow for many of us, it’s been a difficult few months and a National Lockdown was the last thing anyone wanted. But we’re confident we’ll come out the other side and we urge you all to look after one another and stay positive. We’ve done it once and we’ll do it again!
Stay safe, the Almond family and teams
