Denton’s favourite beer garden – or beer gardens, we should say. There are tables out front and secluded tables out back, complete with a hatch where you can order directly from outside, so you never have to miss a moment of the great British summer.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our bar area all day Monday to Wednesday, and until 9pm Thursday to Saturday. (Sorry, not Sundays)
Puss in Boots, Offerton
With extensive outdoor seating, the Puss in Boots beer garden is famous in Offerton. Both dog and child friendly – there’s a playground around the back for little ones – it’s the place for a few quick ones in the sun, or a long lazy day soaking up some rays.

Spread Eagle, Romiley
A sun-trap on the edge of Romiley village, the Spread Eagle beer garden is perfect for eating or drinking outdoors on warmer days. It’s the ideal spot to relax with a cold one after a canal walk – or to cancel the walk altogether and make it a day lounging in the sun.

Jolly Sailor, Davenport
Davenport’s favourite beer garden, tucked around the back of the pub and perfect for whiling away the hours over drinks or something from our extensive food menu. Family and dog friendly, as are all our pub beer gardens.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our snug and at our high tables all day Monday to Wednesday, and until 7.30pm Thursday to Saturday. (Sorry, not Sundays)
The Station House, Cheadle Hulme
The newest member of the Almond Family, The Station House sits right next to Cheadle Hulme station, with a sunny outdoor terrace to match its beautifully renovated interior. Settle in for a perfectly kept Joseph Holt ale, something from the extensive food menu, or a barista-style coffee in the fresh air.
