We’re proud to be one of the most family-friendly places to eat in Stockport, with five welcoming pubs each with its own charm and character. From the Fletchers Arms in Denton to the beautifully restored Jolly Sailor in Davenport and The Station House in Cheadle Hulme, our pubs are cherished local favourites known for their inviting atmospheres, quality food and friendly service. Whether you’re enjoying a sunny afternoon in the beer garden at the Puss in Boots in Offerton or a traditional carvery at the Spread Eagle in Romiley, there’s a perfect spot for every family outing.
Designed especially for little ones, our kids’ menu features a mix of wholesome classics and tasty favourites, from grilled chicken breast and homemade lasagne to mac ‘n’ cheese and southern fried chicken goujons. We’ve made it easy to build your child’s perfect plate – pick a kids’ main and two sides for £8.50 – so little ones can enjoy a meal that suits their taste and appetite.

All our dishes are made with care by our chefs, using seasonal produce wherever possible – so a relaxed family meal at your local Almond Family Pub is always a treat, whatever the time of year.
It’s not just about meat, either: there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options so everyone can join in. You’ll find the likes of cheesy garlic bread, halloumi sticks, mac ‘n’ cheese and plant-based ‘chicken’, plus lots of fresh veg and child-friendly sides like corn ribs, mashed potato, skinny fries and garden peas.
Our Junior Carveries and Roasts are a firm family favourite for those aged 11 and under, served every day of the week (Sundays only at the Jolly Sailor and The Station House) and available as a plant-based roast too. It’s the perfect choice for a kids’ Sunday dinner, with a choice of meats or vegan ‘chicken’, plenty of freshly cooked seasonal vegetables, a giant Yorkshire pudding and our signature homemade gravy.
And if there’s room for pudding, there’s everything from gooey chocolate fudge cake to Grandpa Greene’s luxury ice cream (with vegan and No Gluten Ingredients options), and lots more besides – there’s something to make every little diner smile.

Children can pick a main and two sides for £8.50. Our junior carvery and Sunday roast is also available for little ones aged 11 and under.

Yes. Little ones can enjoy cheesy garlic bread, halloumi sticks, mac ‘n’ cheese and plant-based ‘chicken’, plus a plant-based roast option. For pudding, our Grandpa Greene’s luxury ice cream comes in vegan and No Gluten Ingredients options too – just ask the team about our NGI menu.
