Booking Policy
- Please visit almond-pubs.co.uk to view each of our pubs menus and individual booking policies as they may vary pub to pub. You can also note each pubs Opening Hours.
- Your table is required back 2 hours after your booking time
- For certain times/dates and busy sittings, we may not accept online bookings. If you cannot see your preferred date or time, please call the pub and we’ll happily check availability for you.
- If you require access for a wheelchair or any high chairs then please call us and speak to the duty manager.
- If you are looking to dine Al Fresco, just come on down to the restaurant and speak to the host on the day. Our outside tables are seated on a first come, first served basis and are not able to be reserved.
- If you find yourself running more than 15 minutes late, or you would like to make any changes to your reservation then please call us and ask to speak to the manager on duty.
- Please note that if a deposit is required we are unable confirm your booking until full payment has been made. We need all payments to be processed in one transaction so if you are still collecting deposits please refer back to your booking email once you have the full amount.
- If you are reserving a table for up to 12 guests, you can book online using the online booking portal. We will confirm your reservation by email. For bigger parties, please call your preffered pub or fill in our enquires form

The Personal Data We Process
Personal data means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). We may process different kinds of personal data about you, which we have categorised as follows:
- Identity Data: including your name, username (or similar unique identification numbers that we may apply to you), email address, marital status, title, date of birth and gender.
- Contact Data:including you billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone number(s).

We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature. However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with this privacy notice.
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with products or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us, but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
Sensitive Data
In certain situations we have to collect Sensitive Data about you. Under data protection law this is known as “special category” data and includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, , trade union membership, and information about your health and genetic and biometric data.
When do we process Sensitive Data? We only collect and process Sensitive Data where you provide such information to us in the following situations:
- As part of any feedback and/or complaints which you raise with us, for example where you believe you have suffered a health issue following a visit to one of our venues (for example, suspected food poisoning or another health and safety incident), or where you believe we have been discriminatory against you (for example, discrimination based on race or sexual orientation). When you provide details of what happened, this may include giving us sensitive data. We are allowed to process this sensitive data (together with any other relevant information), to investigate, address and resolve your issue and to administer any possible legal claims or out-of-court procedures.
- Where you are applying for a job with us. In this situation, we can process your sensitive data because it is necessary for carrying out our obligations and rights related to employment law and your working capacity; this is covered in a separate Candidate Privacy Policy which is displayed when you apply for a job, and a copy of it can be provided by emailing marketing@almond-pubs.co.uk. We do not routinely collect and process sensitive data in any other situations. If we do, we will obtain your explicit consent.
Profiling
We do, from time to time, process personal data about you in an automated way to evaluate certain personal aspects about you, including to enable us to analyse and make predictions about your interests and how you are likely to interact with our Group. This is commonly referred to as profiling and it is our way of providing you with a more bespoke customer experience based on how we think you engage with us and our Group.
The personal data about you that we process for profiling purposes includes your Identity Data, your Contact Data and your Profile Data. We do not process personal data about you for profiling purposes that consist of Special Category Personal Data. We process your personal data for profiling purposes for our legitimate interests as set out below. You also have the right to object to us processing your personal data for profiling.
How We Profile and the Logic We Use
We collect your personal data from several sources, including directly from you, which we then combine in order to create a view of your interactions with our group of companies. Once we have this record, we match multiple variables that are unique to you (such as name, email, postcode and/or mobile number) to create an overall matched record. We then clean the record by comparing it with certain third-party reference files (such as the Post Office Address File, the Bereavement Register and email validation) to try to ensure that the record is as accurate as possible.
Once the record is cleaned, we add the record to our customer database and we start to build a behavioural profile about you, which details the brands that you do, or do not, engage with. We also infer a visit to a particular brand location so that we can gain a better understanding of how far you might travel to visit a particular brand of ours. In addition, we apply our algorithms or scoring models to the record to indicate how likely it will be that you will visit a particular brand in the future. We then segment our overall database to create a customer base for each brand to determine those customers with a high likelihood to visit a brand and those who are unlikely to visit a brand. Your record may be in more than one segmented element of the database, for example, you may be high likelihood for 3 of our brands and low likelihood for 3 of our brands within your catchment area.
As well as looking at how you interact with our brands, we also apply demographic profiles (provided to us by a third party supplier of demographic data) to your record using your postcode. These profiles are trends based on a nationally representative sample. This enables us to understand your likely profile such as age, home and financial situation as well as your attitudes to family, home life, matters such as dining, media consumption or your purchasing behaviour.
Finally, to ensure that you get the most relevant communications from us, we may use the above variables (if you have agreed to us sending you certain communications) to select an appropriate communication for you to receive, as well as ensuring you receive the right content or offer. For example, our profiling will help us determine whether you may be more interested in a family message and offer as opposed to a champagne promotion. We enhance this information with data we have regarding the communications and promotions that you have (or have not) engaged with in the past.
Significance and Consequence of the Profiling
The profiling we do enables us to better understand how you interact or may interact, with our brands. It enables us to provide you with the most relevant information (such as vouchers and offers where you have agreed to receive these) and to determine whether a particular brand or outlet should be more tailored to those people who do, or who are likely to, visit it. The profiling also helps us to improve our services and the offerings of our brands depending on the demographic of existing or future visitors.
How We Collect Your Personal Data
We use different methods to collect personal data from and about you including through
- Direct Interactions: You may give us your Identity, Contact, Financial, Profile and Marketing and Communications Data by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email, social media or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you purchase our products or services, book a table with us, join our Loyalty Club, subscribe to our services, news, offers, promotions and updates or groups, request marketing to be sent to you, enter a competition or promotion, complete a survey or give us feedback.
- Social Media Interactions: Our website and services may allow you to interact with them by using your social media applications. This interaction may result in us collecting some of your social media content (including posts and comments, pictures and video footage), but only where this content is in the public domain and/or where this content has been sent by you to us in a private message via social media; and also your Technical, Profile and Marketing and Communications Data.
- Automated Technologies: As you interact with our website and our services, we may automatically collect technical data about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns. We collect this personal data by using cookies, server logs and other similar technologies. We may also receive technical data about you if you visit other websites employing our cookies.
- Other Third Parties or Publicly Available Sources: We may receive personal data about you from various third parties and public sources as set out below:

How We Share Your Personal Data
We cannot run our business or provide many of the services and benefits you expect to receive without involving other people and businesses. We only share your information in accordance with the laws applicable to us and for the purposes set out in the table in paragraph 8 above.

- Our professional advisors(acting as controllers or processors); for example, our lawyers, insurers and insurance brokers, when they need it to provide advice to us or help us obtain insurance.
- The Police, the Health and Safety Executive, local authorities, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the Courts and any other central or local government bodies (acting as controllers or processors) where we are required to do so to comply with our legal obligations, or where they request it and we may lawfully disclose it, for example for the prevention and detection of crime or to report serious health and safety incidents.

- Access: You may request access to your personal data, which enables you to receive a copy of the personal data that we hold about you and to check to see if we are processing it lawfully.
- Transfer: You may request that we transfer your personal data to you or a third party. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Please note that this right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.

- Erasure: You may request erasure of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
- Object: You may object to how we are processing your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms.
- Restriction: You may request that we restrict how we process your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it; (c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.
- Withdrawal of Consent: Where we have relied on your consent to process your personal data you will have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

Employee Privacy notice
How your information will be used
- As your employer or prospective employer, the Company needs to keep and process information about you for normal employment purposes. The information we hold and process will be used for our management and administrative use only. We will keep and use it to enable us to run the business and manage our relationship with you effectively, lawfully and appropriately, during the recruitment process, whilst you are working for us, at the time when your employment ends and after you have left.
This includes using information to enable us to comply with the employment contract, to comply with any legal requirements, pursue the legitimate interests of the Company and protect our legal position in the event of legal proceedings. If you do not provide this data, we may be unable in some circumstances to comply with our obligations and we will tell you about the implications of that decision.
- As a company pursuing hospitality activities, we may sometimes need to process your data to pursue our legitimate business interests, for example to prevent fraud, administrative purposes or reporting potential crimes. The nature of our legitimate interests are contractual, legal obligations and vital interests. We will never process your data where these interests are overridden by your own interests.
- Much of the information we hold will have been provided by you, but some may come from other internal sources, such as your manager, or in some cases, external sources, such as referees.
- The sort of information we hold includes (this list is not exhaustive) your application form/ CV and references, your contract of employment and any amendments to it; correspondence with or about you, for example letters to you about a pay rise or, at your request, a letter to your mortgage company confirming your salary; information needed for payroll, benefits and expenses purposes; contact and emergency contact details; a copy of proof of eligibility to work in the UK, imagery for marketing purposes, records of holiday, sickness and other absence; information needed for equal opportunities monitoring policy; and records relating to your career history, hours of work, training records, appraisals, other performance measures and, where appropriate, disciplinary and grievance records and any other relevant employment documents.
- The above information is stored in paper format in locket storage, on labour scheduling software, e-learning and the payroll processing bureau.
- You will, of course, inevitably be referred to in many company documents and records that are produced by you and your colleagues in the course of carrying out your duties and the business of the company. You should refer to the Data Protection Policy which is available on the e-payslips or in paper format from the office at the pub you work at.
- Where necessary, we may keep information relating to your health, which could include reasons for absence and GP reports and notes. This information will be used in order to comply with our health and safety and occupational health obligations – to consider how your health affects your ability to do your job and whether any adjustments to your job might be appropriate. We will also need this data to administer and manage statutory and company sick pay.
- Where we process special categories of information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, biometric data or sexual orientation, we will always obtain your explicit consent to those activities unless this is not required by law or the information is required to protect your health in an emergency. Where we are processing data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
- We will only disclose information about you to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so or where we need to comply with our contractual duties to you, for instance, we will need to pass on certain information to the payroll processing, labour scheduling and e-learning companies. This information will be kept securely, never shared with third parties and in compliance with GDPR.
- We may transfer information about you to other group companies for purposes connected with your employment or the management of the company’s business.
- Your personal data will be stored for a maximum period of 6 years after your employment leave date. Payroll and pension data may be stored for up to 75 years after your employment leave date.
- If in the future we intend to process your personal data for a purpose other than that which it was collected we will provide you with information on that purpose and any other relevant information.
Your rights
- Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and The Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) you have a number of rights with regard to your personal data:
- The right to be informed
- The right of access
- The right to rectification
- The right to erasure
- The right to restrict processing
- The right to data portability
- The right to object
- The right not to be subject to automated decision-making including profiling
- If you have provided consent i.e. for use of imagery, for the processing of your data you have the right (in certain circumstances) to withdraw that consent at any time which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before your consent was withdrawn.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioners’ Office if you believe that we have not complied with the requirements of the GDPR or DPA 18 with regard to your personal data.
- Almond Family Pubs is the controller and processor of data for the purposes of the DPA 18 and GDPR.

Becoming a member
Your loyalty membership enables you to earn points and redeem those points on certain purchases in participating Almond Family Pubs.
To benefit for an Almond Family Pubs loyalty card, you must be a resident of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over. Almond Family Pubs will be unable to communicate with a customer until an appropriate age of consent has been reached.
You can become a member by obtaining a free card from any Almond Family Pub and registering it online at www.almond-pubs.co.uk.
Points can be only accrued or redeemed onto your card once the card has been registered.
Your membership can only be registered in the name of an individual and only one membership may be registered in the name of each individual. Registering will protect your card from loss, theft or damage and we therefore suggest you register your card as soon as possible.
Using your membership
You can use your card at any of the following Almond Family Pubs:

Points can be accrued, used and transferred at all of the above sites.
Your loyalty card can be used in conjunction with any discount, privilege card or voucher but only when accruing points. When redeeming points, your loyalty card cannot be used in conjunction with any discount, privilege card or voucher.

Earning and redeeming points
Points can only be earned/redeemed at the time of purchase and only if the card is presented at the time of payment.
You will earn three points for each complete pound spent, each point is equivalent to 1p.
Points can be accrued on both food and drink you will then earn points for the full bill.
Unfortunately, if you forget your card we are unable to add your points onto your membership.
Card must be registered in order to redeem your points.
Points can be accrued at any time except for when purchasing gift cards or deposits.
You will not be able to redeem points on Sundays, selected key dates, and throughout December 2024 until the 2nd January 2025
Points will be added onto your card automatically after use. If this does not happen, please retain your receipt and ring head office on 0161 456 1896 and we will look into the error for you.
Points have no cash value. Redeemed points cannot be used again. Points can only be earned, held and redeemed as set out in this agreement. Any points obtained or used otherwise than in accordance with this agreement will be invalid and cannot be redeemed.
Points are personal to the individual member and cannot be pooled with points earned by another member and redeemed together.
Only one member’s loyalty card can be used at any one time or transaction.
In order to redeem your points you should present your card at the point of purchase and state to a team member how many points you would like to redeem.
You may only redeem points against purchases made in any Almond Family Pub.
Expiry & Cancellation
Your membership does not have an expiry date. However, your points are only valid so long as you have used your card to redeem them in the past 12 months. Your points need to be redeemed within the same 12 months that you earned them. If your membership has not been used in this way for 12 consecutive months we reserve the right to remove points from the balance on your card.
We reserve the right to withdraw our loyalty scheme at any time.
Expired points cannot be transferred to a new card or redeemed or reinstated.
You have the right to cancel your card at any point by returning it you any Almond Family pub. If you wish to cancel your membership altogether, please contact head office on 0161 456 1896. If you cancel your membership, you will lose the right to redeem all points that are unused at the time of cancellation.
We may, on notifying you, forfeit all accrued points and/or suspend your right to collect/redeem points if you are in breach of this agreement, if we have reasonable grounds to suspect that you are engaged in fraudulent or other criminal activities relating to us or your card or if you supply false or misleading information to us.
Loss, theft or damage
You should treat your Points like cash in a wallet. If you lose your card or it is stolen, or if someone else accesses your Membership you may lose any Points you have earned in the same way as if you lost your wallet.
You should immediately report any loss or theft of your card or any fraudulent or unauthorised use of your membership to head office on 0161 456 1896.
If your card is damaged or stolen or someone makes unauthorised use of your membership we may, at our sole discretion, replace your card and/or transfer any points stored on your card to a replacement card and/or re-credit any points redeemed without your consent. Circumstances in which we may determine, in our sole discretion, that we will not replace your card and/or transfer and/or re-credit points include where we reasonably believe that the notified incident has been caused by your breach of this Agreement or if there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that you are or have been engaged in fraudulent or other unlawful conduct in relation to your membership.
If we agree to replace your card, a replacement card will be arranged by head office and made ready for collection at one of the Almond Family pubs. We reserve the right to charge a replacement card fee for each replacement card in the event that you are issued with more than 2 replacement cards within any 6 month period. If you receive a replacement card, you will need to register it on the website before you can redeem any points that have been transferred onto it.
Complaints procedure
Complaints regarding any element of your membership should be sent in writing or by email to Marketing at Almond Family Pubs, Jolly sailor, 218 Bramhall Lane, Davenport, SK3 8TE or feedback@almond-pubs.co.uk.
Compensation
Points earned through using your membership are not covered by any compensation scheme.

Data protection and privacy
While registering to become a member either through the website, you will be asked to provide certain personal information, including your name, address and contact details. We are committed to maintaining the security of your personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is kept secure against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or destruction. The Privacy Policy will apply whenever you provide us with personal information.
Liability of Almond Family Pubs
Almond Family Pubs shall not be held liable for any default resulting directly or indirectly from any cause beyond our control, including but not limited to, failure of network services and failure of data processing systems.
Your rights as a consumer
As a consumer you have legal rights in relation to goods that are not of a satisfactory quality or fit for purpose and services not carried out with reasonable care and skill. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office. Nothing in this agreement will affect these legal rights.
Variation
We reserve the right to amend or waive any provision of this agreement from time to time and at any time, or to terminate the Almond Family pub loyalty program (and therefore your membership) on reasonable notice. You should check this page of the website from time to time to take note of any changes we make, as they are binding on you from the date that we make them.
Governing law
This Agreement is governed by English law.
