We have driven past this place for years and never had the time to call in having had many recommendations to give it a try.
This Monday evening we had no excuse and wow we were we blown away with the food and service.
We both tried the burger off the specials menu and were really happy we did. Excellent and great value.
We couldn’t get over how busy the pub was for a Monday evening – says it all really.

Great local, fabulous food, friendly welcoming staff especially Trish, Vita and Cat. If you’re every in Romiley make sure you make a trip here, especially to Thursday night quiz

Popped in mid walk for a pint and lasagne. Lasagne was fresh and very tasty. 2 pints later I continued my walk. I’ll be making the Spread Eagle a regular pit stop over the summer.
