Booking a table at the Puss in Boots takes less than a minute. We take online bookings for groups of 5 or more every day. For groups of 4 or fewer there’s no need to book outside of special days: just come and see us and a member of our team will get you seated for food, drinks, or both. Please note: while we’re a dog-friendly pub, our four-legged friends are only allowed in the bar area, which we don’t book out. If you’d like to dine with your dog, simply walk in and we’ll find you the next available table.

Why do I need a card guarantee on my booking?

On Sundays and other key dates throughout the year, we ask for debit or credit card details to secure your table. Rest assured, these are held in a secure, PCI-DSS compliant vault, and you won’t be charged unless plans change. A charge of £10 per person applies to any no-shows, reduced numbers or cancellations that we’re not told about at least 24 hours before your booking.

For large bookings, a deposit may be required – please speak to a member of the team.

How do I get to the Puss in Boots?

The Puss in Boots is at 147 Nangreave Road, Offerton, Stockport, SK2 6DG, with free on-site parking.

By public transport, the nearest train stations are Davenport (0.7 miles), Woodsmoor (0.7 miles), Stockport (1.2 miles) and Hazel Grove (1.5 miles). The nearest bus stop is Windermere Road (50 metres), served by the 385 bus. Plan your journey with public transport on the TFGM website here.

Yes, of course. We’ve got an extensive menu for vegetarians and vegans, plus a specially crafted menu for guests limiting their gluten intake. If you’re unsure about any ingredients or allergens, speak to a member of the Puss in Boots team who will be happy to help or advise you before you book.

I need to make a booking for a group of 4 or fewer at the Puss in Boots – what do I do?

We only take online bookings for groups of 5 or more, so that larger groups can always get a seat. For groups of 4 or fewer, we’ve almost always got room, whether you’re eating or just enjoying a drink, so simply pop in any time and a member of our team will find you a table.

Can I book the Puss in Boots for a large gathering or event?

Yes – the Puss in Boots regularly hosts large groups and gatherings for all sorts of occasions. That ranges from the professional (work drinks, presentations and business meetings) through to much more personal events (birthdays, retirement parties and wakes). I’m running late for my booking at the Puss in Boots – what do I do?

If you find yourself running more than 15 minutes late, please call the Puss in Boots on 0161 456 5200 and ask to speak to the duty manager. If you are more than 15 minutes late and we haven’t heard from you, we may have to release your table to another guest.

Can I park at the Puss in Boots?

Yes, we have free on-site parking at the Puss in Boots. Please note that at peak times it is likely to be busy, so it’s worth allowing a little extra time.

I need to make a change to my Puss in Boots booking – how can I do that?

If for any reason you’d like to make changes to your reservation, please call the Puss in Boots on 0161 456 5200 and a member of our team will be able to offer advice and make any changes that are available.

Can I bring my dog to the Puss in Boots?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Puss in Boots bar area all day, Monday to Saturday until 7pm. However, we are unable to take bookings for parties with dogs, as our bookable areas are dog-free. As a pub at heart, we don’t take bookings in the bar area, so if you’d like to dine with your dog, just come along and we’ll find you the next available table.

I have a preferred table at the Puss in Boots – can I book that?

We’ll always do our best to accommodate requests for where to sit, but this may not always be possible. Speak to a member of our team if you’d like a certain spot and we’ll do what we can.

How long is a table booking at the Puss in Boots?

As standard, we’ll need your table back 2 hours after your booking time. If you require longer at your table, please contact the Puss in Boots and a member of our team will let you know what’s possible.

Is a booking any different on a Sunday?

If you’re booking for a Sunday, you’ll be dining from our Sunday menu and prices may vary. We serve our famous carvery every Sunday alongside our full menu. Please note that the majority of our special offers and vouchers are not available on Sundays.

Does the Puss in Boots add a service charge?

We add a discretionary 10% service charge to your bill, as most of us now pay by card rather than cash. Our fantastic team receive 100% of tips. We’re more than happy to take this off – just let us know.

A member of my party has accessibility needs – what do I do?

If you require wheelchair access, high chairs, or have any other accessibility requirements, please call the Puss in Boots and speak to the duty manager. We’ll make sure everything is ready for your visit.
