Cask Ale Week 2026 at Almond Family Pubs
Cask Ale Week is all about celebrating Britain’s favourite drink, cask beer. It’s a nationwide event where pubs and breweries come together to shine a spotlight on real ale, giving customers the chance to discover, enjoy and share it through special events and activities.
The idea first came about in the early 2000s, thanks to Cask Marque, and it’s now backed by brewers, pub groups, and trade organisations across the country – including the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). Cask Ale Week for 2026 runs from Thursday 17th to Sunday 27th September.
We’re proud to be taking part once again this year, as we take the opportunity to showcase the well-kept cask ales that Almond Family Pubs are known for.
To celebrate, all our quizzes will be having a special one-off additional prize – where you can win your height of the tallest member of your team in cask ale! In addition, both the Puss in Boots and Fletchers Arms will be pulling £1.30 pints of Unicorn on Saturday 26th September, while stocks last – click here, or find out more below.

Joseph Holt’s classic deep amber bitter, with light caramel and malty notes balanced by punchy, earthy English hops and a silky-smooth finish.

Amber bitter with sweet malty aroma. Predominantly sweet taste with balanced biscuit malt, pine hops and toffee notes.

Fletchers Arms and Puss in Boots
There’s a treat in the diary for bitter drinkers too. To mark 130 years of Robinsons’ Unicorn, first brewed back in September 1896, we’re pulling pints for just £1.30 at Fletchers Arms and Puss in Boots on Saturday 26th September. There are 72 up for grabs at each pub, while stocks last. Robinsons are also giving 13 lucky winners the chance to bag a limited-edition 1996 Stockport County shirt.
