DJ Laura Dean, spinning this Sunday at the Jolly

This Sunday, 20th September, we’ve got a little extra going on at the Jolly Sailor. Alongside the Sunday carvery, we’ve got acclaimed DJ Laura Dean joining us from 4pm. Expect a relaxed soundtrack with a disco vibe to ease you through the afternoon and into the evening.

Expect all the usual atmosphere of a Sunday at the Jolly, just with some added extra feel-good tunes. The carvery and main menu is serving as normal, and the bar will be pouring pints until late. Laura will be setting the tone throughout, elevating your dinner to the next level. We’ll have chilled out classics, reworked hits, and all-round blissed out listening that suits a Sunday session.

Who is Laura Dean?

Laura is a Manchester house DJ who has built a real name for herself. She had a big 2024, playing luxury spots in Monaco, Paris, Ibiza and Greece, and was chosen by MTV to represent Manchester’s female DJ talent at the MTV European Music Awards. She started out in house and has grown her sound into a fusion of styles picked up from DJing around the world. For Sundays at the Jolly she’s dialling it right back, a warm blend of house and disco with a nostalgic edge to sit alongside your roast and a drink.

Carvery is served from midday til 7.30pm and Laura plays from 4pm til 9pm, so there’s no rush. Book your table or just pop in when it suits. We’ll see you there.
