The Potting Shed comes into its own at Christmas. It’s the perfect spot for a get-together that feels a little bit special without the fuss of a formal function room. The room is perfect for gathering the family, rounding up friends for festive cocktails, or booking in the works Christmas do – it is a space that brings people together.



Because it’s semi-private, your group gets a corner of The Station House to call its own for the evening. On the Menu This Christmas
Our ever-popular Festive Fayre menu is served at The Station House from 23rd November to 23rd December 2026, Monday to Saturday. It’s £24.50 for two courses or £29.50 for three, with something to tempt everyone around the table. Busy days always fill up fast, so groups are advised to book early.
At the heart of the menu is the Almond Festive Roast: a slow-roasted turkey roulade with sage and buttered onion stuffing, wrapped in maple glazed streaky bacon and served with all the festive trimmings. Add a pig in blanket or two, and there’s a plant-based ‘turkey’ breast with vegan gravy for a meat-free Christmas. Away from the roast, tuck into The Bells & Whistles Burger topped with a pig in blanket and festive slaw, Teriyaki Salmon Skewers, an Apple Cider & Ginger Braised Lamb Shank, or the Roasted Pumpkin & Ricotta Ravioli.
Start with the Bloody Mary Prawn Cocktail or the Hot Honey Roasted Beetroot, Goat’s Cheese & Toasted Pine Nut Salad, then leave room for dessert: Rocky Road Chocolate Cheesecake, Mulled Apple & Blackberry Crumble with honeycomb ice cream, Traditional Christmas Pudding with brandy sauce, or a Lemon & Ginger Treacle Tart. There are vegetarian, vegan and no gluten ingredient (NGI) options throughout, so just let the team know when you book.

Live Music & Festive Nights
There’s entertainment six nights a week at The Station House throughout December, so your evening in the Potting Shed comes with a soundtrack. Enjoy live music from Wednesday to Sunday, plus our free pub quiz every Monday. It all builds to New Year’s Eve, with live music and DJs from 8pm. Whatever night you choose, the festive spirit is well and truly in full swing.

About The Station House
The newest member of the Almond Family, The Station House opened in Cheadle Hulme in October 2025 following a £1.3m renovation in partnership with Manchester brewery Joseph Holt. A beautifully restored pub inspired by the golden age of rail travel, it was named a finalist for Best New Site at the 2026 Publican Awards within three months of opening.
