The Station House’s First Birthday Party, Saturday 17th October

The Station House is turning one, and we’re throwing a huge party to celebrate. On Saturday 17th October, we’d love you to join us in Cheadle Hulme for a night of live music, entertainment and a few birthday treats to say thank you for helping us be part of the community over the past 12 months. It is going to be a spectacular night!

Tickets are £5 and include a drink on arrival, with complimentary canapés served through the evening. We’ve got live music and entertainment lined up, doors open from 7.30pm with last entry at 9pm, and with our extended hours there’s no need to rush off early. Places are limited, so it’s worth booking early to avoid missing out.

It’s hard to believe it’s only been twelve months. We opened last October in the building that had previously been Platform 5, marking our return to Cheadle Hulme. The £1.3m refurbishment, our first alongside Joseph Holt, took its cue from the golden age of rail travel, from the brass and marble bar to the leather booths, the snug with its log burner and a sun terrace that seats a hundred.

Since then the pub has gone from strength to Strength. Our plated Sunday roasts have been named among Greater Manchester’s best, we were finalists for the national Best New Site at the Publican Awards just months after opening, and we’ve filled the calendar with live music from Thursday through to Sunday, a free quiz every Monday, and barista coffee on the go seven days a week. We even found time to launch a pre-theatre menu for anyone heading into town for a show.

None of it happens without the people who walk through the door, which is exactly why we want to celebrate with you. Here’s to the first of many. Grab your tickets on Toggle and we’ll see you on the 17th.
